Emergency serviceWhy First Response
The big-company alternative, without the big-company invoice.
National fire companies often win you with a low per-unit price, then add charges for parts and "small services" once they're on site. We quote a flat, all-in price upfront. The number you approve is the number you pay.
- You deal with the owner. Kevin Reynolds has 30+ years in fire protection and answers his own phone.
- Parts and chemicals included. Fusible links, nozzle caps and standard components are part of the quote.
- No contracts, short-notice scheduling. Fire marshal gave you 30 days? We can usually get you in this week.

FAQ
Questions we hear a lot
Still have a question? Call (707) 386-0006 and you'll get Kevin, not a call center.
How often do fire sprinklers need to be inspected in California?
California Code of Regulations Title 19, which adopts NFPA 25, requires quarterly, annual and five-year inspections and tests of commercial fire sprinkler systems, performed by a C-16 licensed fire protection contractor. We handle all three and keep you on schedule.
How often does a restaurant hood suppression system need service?
At least every six months, per the California Fire Code and NFPA 17A and 96. It also needs service after any discharge and whenever cooking appliances are added or moved. We service Ansul, Pyro-Chem, Amerex and other major systems.
What does your flat-rate price include?
Your quote covers the inspection or test, standard replacement parts and chemicals the service calls for, and your paperwork. Other companies often quote a low per-unit price and then add charges on site. Our quote is the bill.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
No. There are no long-term contracts. Most customers stay because the service is good, and we'll remind you when your next inspection is due.
Do you really cover Sonoma County and Sacramento from Fairfield?
Yes. Fairfield sits right between the two. Sonoma County is our busiest area, and we're in Santa Rosa, Petaluma, Healdsburg and Sonoma every week. We also run regular routes through Sacramento, Roseville, Elk Grove, Folsom and the surrounding suburbs.
Can you take over a system another company installed?
Absolutely. Most of our customers switched to us from another provider. We'll review your last report, inspect the system and let you know upfront if anything needs attention.
